November's Ministry Requests

This quarter, we are focusing on a few things that will help to increase mentor retention which will in turn, allow us to respond to even more people.

Our goal is to have at least 90% of our mentors continue at the end of each quarter. Although our mentoring program is not for everyone, we want to ensure that we have done everything we can to ensure the experience is fulfilling for those that give their time and heart to our ministry as volunteers.

  1. We are wanting to recruit another 20 or so mentor coaches to encourage and equip new mentors, as well as those that have been with us for a while.

  2. Anecdotally, and in our staff's own experience, sometimes it can be frustrating when mentors do not get a second message when they respond to a message. We've crunched the numbers and thankfully, it isn't nearly the problem that it seemed to be. When mentors follow our training, it is only 10% of conversations that don't continue after the mentors respond. What this does show is that our training needs to be more clear.
